Jun. 25th, 2007 06:04 pmWorking on the other side of the unit today, in a swap with Rosie. Got not one, but two blokes today with serious attitude problems about our survey, both of whom tried to get out of doing it with the old "nothing's changed" argument, then when I explained we still had to run through it, flatly refused - one just bluntly saying "I don't want to answer any more of your questions," the other launching into a diatribe about how the survey was "irrelevant" to him and his family and "a complete waste of [his] time", yadda yadda yadda. At least the last one came towards the end of the shift, and by the time I'd written my report it was 1.58 and I was able to log off and go into my payclaim.
Being the other side, there were Cadbury's Mini Rolls and fruit-flavoured chews on the table, but after a weekend of pigging out on the sweets and snacks the parents brought back from Cyprus, I forced myself to resist all through the shift.
Sorry to learn today that Stonefoxx have dropped out of the W*t*rfr*nt F*st*v*l, although checking the train times, I wouldn't have been back from the rugby in time for their set anyway.
