At college this evening we were unable to log into our workstations for the first 20 minutes because of some technical problem. A bloke who was clearly working on it kept putting his head round the door to keep us updated on progress - when, after 15 minutes, it was still no go, Rick said "Let's all go down the pub."

Later, when I was first to finish the exercise we were all doing, Rick asked "Have you finished?" I replied yes and he said "Get the beers in, then"...
