(no subject)

Today I was working as a shift-swap with Shelley, which meant I got to sit in the row facing Lesley, Sarah #3 and Ali. Naturally that meant plenty of BB7 talk! Almost as soon as I'd sat down Lesley and Sarah were reminding me it was eviction night tonight (as if I needed a reminder). I told them the Survey Monkey poll was indicating that Nikki would go; the girls were happy enough for that to happen. Lesley asked who I'd voted for. I explained that first I voted for Michael, then when I'd seen the poll showing a three-horse race between Nikki, Susie and Aisleyne with Susie fading out, I'd cast a couple of votes for Nikki, to save Aisleyne. "Do you like Aisleyne, then?" Lesley asked. I said yes, and nobody minded that :)

Coming off a phone call I heard Lesley talking about 'Dates from Hell'. I asked her whether that was a new TV series, and she said no, real life. "Sarah's been on a blind date from hell." "Never again," Sarah added. Lesley said Sarah's date had been obnoxious and hadn't even said goodbye to her at the end of the evening.

"What a pig," I replied.

"Wilhelmus knows how to treat a lady, don't you?" Lesley said with a smile. Half an hour or so later she and Ali said they ought to start a dating agency.

"How much for three months' membership?" I quipped. Lesley laughed "We'll get you a date - we'll set you up with Sarah!"

Later, during another BB7 discussion - this one mostly about how it would be a shame if Susie were evicted, as she exerts a calming influence on the house - Lesley mused "Hopeless addicts, aren't we? What am I going to do when it's all over?"

I pointed out that The X Factor 3 starts soon after BB7 ends. "Yeah, but that's only once a week, isn't it?" I reminded her that there's a midweek show, The Xtra Factor, on ITV2 - she seemed genuinely surprised. Then she said she was really craving another series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here...
