Top five - Days in my life
1. 9 May 1998 - Ann and I attended the Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham. Simply an amazing evening.
2. 19 September 1998 - the last time I met Sarah Kane. Her play Crave was doing well, to us observers the future looked glorious for her, she seemed very bright and on the up, and we were getting on so well I was sure we'd become true friends soon. If only...
3. 3 July 1999 - my FE college year's 10th anniversary reunion, co-organised by me and a roaring success.
4. 3 August 2002 - of a number of days' fun and frolics with the old Tranmere women's team between '99 and '03, this was the finest. First day of the Mansfield tournament weekend, the girls won all their games that day, top craic and laughs off the pitch, Commonwealth Games on the telly back at the hotel in the evening. Plus still basking in the glow of my beloved Kate winning BB3 a week before.
5. 13 October 2002 - Kirstyfest II, the best of the four I've made it to (and the one where
ladymissloki and I got to know each other).
