The tub of Manager's Mix was back on the nibbles table today, together with a bag of Italian Arrabiatta World Cup crisps :)))
For my break this afternoon, I felt like some time alone, and getting some fresh air, so went out to sit on a bench in the courtyard. No sooner had I sat down than Sarah #1 stuck her head out of the window and shouted across to me, asking why I was out there. I walked over and told her I was catching some fresh air. She said "But it's too cold."
"It's pleasantly cool," I replied. (And she is from Manchester!!)
"I'll let you off," she laughed, and her head disappeared back inside. Fruitcase.

This post makes me crave being outside in the cold on a bench (even if it was not really cold as Sarah said) and I am happy to say it has been pleasantly cool-ish here too. We are on our way to Autumn and I am pleased as punch.
