From tomorrow I'll be editing the computer records on my own without Simon sitting beside me, I'll just have to turn to him or Chris if there's anything I get stuck on - though for now my work'll still all be checked over by one of them. Simon offered me the chance of flying solo today, but I said he could oversee me today. I think he was a tiny bit narked by that - perhaps he wanted to get on with his own work.

My batch today took the usual 45 minutes; spent the rest of the shift continuing the anatomy and physiology course I started on my first day.

Mid-morning Sue asked whether I was a football fan. On my saying yes, she asked whether I had any interest in tonight's Netherlands v England match...she gave me some stick when she learned I support the Dutch!

I have my Oranje shirt on and two Oranjebooms in the fridge. Hup Holland Hup!
