When I mentioned to Bev that we'd been told we could put the decs up on Monday, she said "You'll be doing them on your own, I'm not." I asked Bev whether she'd turned into a Christmas grump. She said no, she loves Christmas, she just can't be bothered to take part in any festivities in the office. Weird.

Bev reminded Melissa and me of what we'd clean forgotten : that we hadn't put the decorations up last year, after a directive had come from management that people would have to key out and put decorations up on their own time.

I work for myself these days, but back in the days when I worked for others, I remember office Christmas stuff being described as 'compulsory jollity parades' by someone and there's something in that! :o)

And don't get me wrong- I DO enjoy the Christmas stuff!
