Did my Using The Computer & Managing Files exam tonight. Seemed to go OK. Went for a coffee and bumped into Mark, a friend of the parents who's a teacher at the school and was helping out at a Careers Fair that was just coming to the end. Spent the rest of class doing Spreadsheets - much of it's familiar from the CLAIT but I'm also learning some new stuff like MIN, MAX and IF functions. So far it's a breeze...

Excel is fun. You can get some really neat things going in it. Conditional formatting is always good

Is that the =IF(B2>250, "Brilliant", "Shite") function? I learned that tonight.

Yup! There is also one you can do that extends it to make the cells change colour which is always neat.

Its fun (and yes I am a geek :o) )I have spreadsheets with funky ass colour issues!

Is there any other reason for using Excel other than conditional formatting? :-)
