Let's put Michelle back at #1.

As she was appearing on Loose Women today, I made sure I was in the coffee lounge on time, but at 12.45, before Michelle had appeared, a group of guys took the TV remote control from its stand. I asked the bloke holding the control if we could please stay tuned to Loose Women until Michelle appeared, and he agreed provided she was on before 1 pm as he wanted to watch the news.

Thankfully Michelle came on a few minutes later, but even after I turned the volume up to 65 I could hardly hear anything she said, such was the chatter of the crowd in the coffee lounge. Although she plugged her new single, she didn't get to sing it :( Her slot was over by one, at least, so I was able to nod to the guy with the control. To my surprise, instead of putting the one o'clock news on BBC1 on, he switched to BBC News 24 - which broadcasts the same rolling news every few minutes, so there was no need to tune in bang on 1 pm!

I watched it when Michelle won, she did and still does have a fabulous voice.

It's bloody stupid that someone who was barely a one-hit wonder is attempting to do a comeback. No one (apart from you, obv) cared the first time!

Ouch! That's not even true. I wouldn't count myself as a fan of her style but she did have talent and it wasn't her fault that being on reality TV overexposed her.

Overexposure is one thing - but as I recall, she had one number one and then all the fuss died down and no one cared. It happens all the time!

Still, malmo58 clearly really likes her so a little bit of tact wouldn't have gone amiss.
