I don't normally do memes twice, but [livejournal.com profile] squirrella is a dear friend of mine, so here's 7 more of my Interests just for her:

i'm a celebrity
To give it its full name, I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here!, but that's too long to list as a lj Interest. I love reality TV shows and people watching, and I'm A Celeb is my favourite of the lot. The fact most of the contestants are C-listers actually makes them more interesting viewing. I like the two-stage voting system, where during the first week you can vent your spleen on your least favourite contestant by voting for them to do the Bush Tucker Trials, but when the evictions start it switches to positive voting, which I like better than the negative voting used on BB.

I'll take the opportunity to sling in my favourite I'm A Celeb joke:

After four days in the jungle Katie Price and Peter Andre couldn't contain their passions any longer. In the middle of the night they got up, stealthily made their way down to the lakeside, and excitedly took all their clothes off. As they laid down to make love, they heard a rustling in the bushes.

"Is that Johnny Rotten?" asked Katie.

"I hope not," replied Peter, "it's the only one I've got!"

Boom Boom!

(For non-UK readers : Katie Price and Peter Andre met and fell in love when they were both contestants on I'm A Celebrity - Get Me Out Of Here. They subsequently married. Johnny Rotten was a contestant in the same season of the show.)

olives
Just because I love to eat them and can't get enough of them. [livejournal.com profile] tonight_we_fly having them among his interests inspired me to add them.

bbw
Because for me big beautiful women are where it's at.

spitting image
My favourite programme from its birth in 1984. Highlight of my weekends as a teenager. Its mixture of zany and vitriolic humour makes it an all time classic comedy show.

jacobites
I have a keen interest in British history and the Jacobite cause - the supporters of the exiled James II and his family - is close to my heart. James as king tried to introduce religious tolerance and was run out of the country by bigots. And I do believe that Franz, Duke of Bavaria, the current Stuart heir (King Francis II to modern-day Jacobites), should rightfully be occupying Buckingham Palace.

swedish
I fell in love with the Åland Islands when I went there this summer. I will be taking regular holidays there and want to learn Swedish to converse with the locals.

twinkle
Unjustly overlooked female singer from the 1960s. She made some wonderful music. If you like female-vocal pop then check out her best-of CD Golden Lights. It's full of superb songs.

Heh heh, please don't ever get olive poisoning, or I'll never forgive myself!

Don't worry, I've guzzled olives by the bucketload given half a chance since I was a kid :)

Aheheheh. I am liking you already ;-)

And I see you love Sweden! I can totally recommend the West Coast as well, north of (my lovely) Göteborg. Smögen and Lysekil are amazing in the Summer.

I would love to see more of Sweden - so far I've just stayed overnight in Stockholm en route to/from the Swedish-speaking Finnish Åland Islands.
