As it's my birthday tomorrow, brought a box of Belgian chocolate truffles and a bag of butter fudge in to work this morning. The sweets were extremely well received, especially by Sarah #4 - she thanked me effusively for bringing fudge, as fudge is her favourite, and she paid many a visit to the table within an hour of the bag being opened!
Had one of my calls monitored by Val. No problems, though our feedback session was cut short when Janine put her head round the door to say Val's son, who's backpacking and is currently in China, was on the phone - cue Val legging back to the desk pronto! Janine explained that in the four months he'd been travelling this was the first time he'd phoned her.
At the end of the shift Sarah #4 came over and handed me a card from everyone on the unit - will save opening it for tomorrow, together with the ones from Jade and Rob that arrived in today's post.
