After two days of a tickly cough, woke up this morning with a hot stuffy nose. Then in Fareham bus station, three coughing fits produced tiny bits of green colouration among the spittle. A bloody cold.
A few people were late for work because of traffic delays from flooding, so they were happy to let me stay on till three. Throughout the shift I had to battle against my cough, and several times had to say 'excuse me' and muffle one while interviewing. At 2.38 I got a two adult household, expecting it to take me neatly just past 3; their circumstances were so complicated it was 3.20 by the time I got out. Still, all in good time for the bus, and every little helps...
